It is a pleasure to invite you to the 3rd Annual Scientific Convention of the Philippine Society for the Study of Nature, Inc. (PSSN) on May 1-3, 2003 to be held here at the University of Southern Mindanao, Kabacan, Cotabato. The theme of the 3-day affair will be “Nurturing Nature for the Benefit of All.” The first 2 days (Thursday and Friday) will be devoted to scientific sessions (presentation of papers) and campus tour and the 3rd day (Saturday) will be a field tour to various places in Davao City (optional).

In this regard, please submit your abstracts/full papers for presentation so it can be included in the program not later than March 25, 2003. Registration fee is P800 (lunch & snacks among others). Lodging fees in our USM Hostel range from P150 - P250/day only.

Rest assured also that peace and order in this place is not a problem. When in Davao City or Cotabato City take a Mintranco bus and get down in Kabacan, ride a tricycle to USM and tell the driver to bring you to the USM Hostel where reservations have been arranged.
